From 1994 the museum publishes a periodical scientific journal, Studi e Ricerche, as well as a series of monographs and articles of a naturalistic or archaeological interest.
Each year the Editorial Committee evaluates the publication of original contributions of high scientific value. Unpublished works in the field of natural sciences and archaeology are considered for publication, with preference for those pertinent to the Veneto region and in particular the area of Vicenza.
A maximum of 2 articles per Author/Co-Author will be considered for publication. The papers are first evaluated by the Editorial Board of the Journal, which submits them to peer review by external experts. Articles that do not respect the relevance of the journal or are clearly far from the quality standards of the Journal, may be directly rejected by the Editorial Board. The publication does not involve any cost for the Authors.

Millimetric granules of gem quality zircon were found in the sandy and pebbly debris that occupy the initial section of the cave. They are associated with granules of “anorthoclase”, calcite, goethite, almandine, ilmenite, magnetite, pyroxene (diopside), quartz and spinel. The minerals were mainly identified by scanning microscope (EDX chemical analysis) and partly by X ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman Spectroscopy. Several species of millimetric fossils were found in the same sampled material studied for the minerals. They are representative of the local sedimentary rocks eroded by the waters of the cave.

La località mineralogica di Castelletto di Rotzo (Altopiano dei Sette Comuni, Vicenza) era già nota ai collezionisti e agli studiosi dagli anni ’60 del secolo scorso, ma nel tempo sono aumentate le specie segnalate e le pubblicazioni a riguardo. L’esemplare in oggetto mostra una rara e peculiare anomalia, infatti possiede solamente quattro zone ambulacrali e quattro interambulacrali, anziché cinque come è di norma per gli echinoidi.},

Viene qui descritto un esemplare di echinoide regolare attribuito a Coelopleurus coronalis (Klein in Leske, 1778) proveniente dal Priaboniano (Eocene superiore) di Sossano (Colli Berici-Vicenza). L’esemplare in oggetto mostra una rara e peculiare anomalia, infatti possiede solamente quattro zone ambulacrali e quattro interambulacrali, anziché cinque come è di norma per gli echinoidi.
