From 1994 the museum publishes a periodical scientific journal, Studi e Ricerche, as well as a series of monographs and articles of a naturalistic or archaeological interest.
Each year the Editorial Committee evaluates the publication of original contributions of high scientific value. Unpublished works in the field of natural sciences and archaeology are considered for publication, with preference for those pertinent to the Veneto region and in particular the area of Vicenza.
A maximum of 2 articles per Author/Co-Author will be considered for publication. The papers are first evaluated by the Editorial Board of the Journal, which submits them to peer review by external experts. Articles that do not respect the relevance of the journal or are clearly far from the quality standards of the Journal, may be directly rejected by the Editorial Board. The publication does not involve any cost for the Authors.

A questo taxon sono attribuite le quattro specie P. macrochelus (Desmarest, 1822), P. aquitanicus A. Milne Edwards, 1862, P. simplex Stoliczka, 1871 e P. valrovinensis (De Gregorio, 1895). Palaeocarpilius aquitanicus, conosciuto per l’Oligocene inferiore della Francia, viene riportato per la prima volta per il territorio italiano.},

abstract = {Vengono trattati gli stomatopodi fossili del Terziario del Veneto (Italia settentrionale). Il campione studiato include le specie note Pseudosquilla berica De Angeli & Messina, 1996 (Famiglia Pseudosquillidae Manning, 1977), Lysiosquilla antiqua (Münster, 1842) e L. messinai De Angeli, 1997 (Famiglia Lysiosqullidae Giesbrecht, 1910). Nuovo materiale conservato nel Museo Civico “G. Zannato” di Montecchio Maggiore ha contribuito alla descrizione di Coronidopsis albanellensis sp. nov. (Famiglia Eurysquillidae Manning, 1977) e Squilla breoniensis sp. nov. (Famiglia Squillidae Latreille, 1802). I livelli terziari del Veneto, già noti per i numerosi e ben conservati decapodi fossili, sono da ritenersi importanti anche per la presenza di rari stomatopodi.},
