From 1994 the museum publishes a periodical scientific journal, Studi e Ricerche, as well as a series of monographs and articles of a naturalistic or archaeological interest.
Each year the Editorial Committee evaluates the publication of original contributions of high scientific value. Unpublished works in the field of natural sciences and archaeology are considered for publication, with preference for those pertinent to the Veneto region and in particular the area of Vicenza.
A maximum of 2 articles per Author/Co-Author will be considered for publication. The papers are first evaluated by the Editorial Board of the Journal, which submits them to peer review by external experts. Articles that do not respect the relevance of the journal or are clearly far from the quality standards of the Journal, may be directly rejected by the Editorial Board. The publication does not involve any cost for the Authors.

abstract = {Vengono prese in considerazione le specie di Ranina Lamarck, 1801 (Crustacea, Decapoda, Raninidae) segnalate in letteratura per il Terziario del Vicentino (Vicenza, Italia settentrionale). Sono inoltre descritte Ranina ornata sp. nov. dell’Eocene medio di Pradipaldo, R. pellattieroi sp. nov. del Miocene inferiore di Creazzo, Ranina specie indeterminata (1) e Ranina specie indeterminata (2) del Miocene inferiore di Creazzo e dell’Eocene superiore di Alonte. Con la descrizione di Ranina ornata sp. nov. e R. pellattieroi sp. nov., sale a 31 il numero delle specie della famiglia Raninidae conosciute per il Terziario del Vicentino. Ranina ornata sp. nov. rappresenta probabilmente il più antico ritrovamento europeo attribuito a questo genere.},

abstract = {Viene segnalata la presenza di un esemplare di Cyrtorhina globosa Beschin, Busulini, De Angeli & Tessier, 1988 (Crustacea, Decapoda, Raninidae), proveniente dall’Eocene di Zovo di Bolca (Verona, Italia settentrionale), depositato nella collezione paleontologica del Dipartimento di Geologia, Paleontologia e Geofisica dell’Università di Padova. Il genere è conosciuto con due specie viventi (C. granulosa Monod, 1956 e C. balabacensis Serène, 1971) e tre forme fossili (C. globosa Beschin, Busulini, De Angeli & Tessier, 1988, C. fusseli Blow & Manning, 1996 e C. oblonga Beschin, Busulini, De Angeli & Tessier, 1988). La segnalazione del nuovo esemplare risulta interessante in quanto questo fa parte della collezione carcinologica raccolta dal geologo vicentino Ramiro Fabiani.},
